I. User Interface
Common buttons for radio menu navigation:
The following buttons are typically used to navigate EdgeTX. If your radio does not have these buttons, please refer to the manufacturer documentation for your specific radio's button configuration.
Buttons:
- [SYS] - System button - Short press the [SYS] button from the main screen to enter the radio settings menu for tools.
- [MDL] - Model button - Short press the [MDL] button from the main screen to enter the model menu for model selection.
- [RTN] - Return / Back - Short press the [RTN] button to return to the previous page, previous menu, or cancel an operation.
- [PAGE>] / [PAGE<] - Next & Previous - Used to navigate between different screens, tabs, or settings depending on the screen.
- [TELE] - Telemetry - Press the [TELE] button to enter the configured telemetry screen. For more information on telemetry screens, see the Display section.
- [Knob] or [Dial] - Next & Previous value - The knob is used to browse menu options.
- [Enter] - Accept - Used to select options, functions, or accept values - Press the [knob] or [dial] button to select or input
Important
Note: When editing text, you can usually hold down the [knob] or [dial] to toggle case.
II. Main View
The main view is the default view typically used during radio operation. This view displays information such as model name, trim positions, transmitter battery voltage, flight mode, receiver signal strength, and timers. A clock is also displayed in the center bottom of all screens. There are five main view screens in total.
2.1 Screens
Screen 1:
This view displays the model name, trim positions (if trim is enabled), clock, transmitter battery voltage, flight mode, receiver signal strength, and timers 1 and 2 (if enabled).
Screen 2 No Telemetry / With Telemetry:

This view displays the model name, trim positions (if trim is enabled), clock, transmitter battery voltage, flight mode, receiver signal strength, and timer 1 (if enabled).
It also has graphical representations of stick, knob, and switch positions. Use the [knob] or [dial] to scroll through other pages. The second page shows the status of logical switches.
Screen 3:
This view displays the model name, trim positions (if trim is enabled), clock, transmitter battery voltage, flight mode, receiver signal strength, and timer 1 (if enabled).
It also displays the values of output channels in a bar graph, 8 channels per page. Use the [knob] or [dial] to scroll through other pages.
Screen 4:
This view displays the model name, trim positions (if trim is enabled), clock, transmitter battery voltage, flight mode, receiver signal strength, and timer 1 (if enabled).
It also displays the numerical values of output channels, 8 channels per page. Use the [knob] or [dial] to scroll through other pages.
Screen 5:
This view displays the channel monitor or mixer monitor, 8 channels per page. Use the knob or dial to scroll through other pages.
Press the [knob] or [dial] button to switch between channel monitor and mixer monitor.
Long press the [knob] or [dial] button from the main view screen to display a popup menu with the following options:
- View Notes - Displays the configured model checklist. This option is only visible when there is a valid model checklist file in the Models folder.
- Reset - See the Reset page.
- Statistics - See the Statistics page.
- About - Displays the EdgeTX firmware version used by the radio.
2.2 Reset
Selecting Reset from the popup menu will give you the following options:
Reset Flight - When this option is selected:
- Reset all timers configured for flight persistence settings to zero.
- Reset all discovered telemetry sensor values.
- Reset all logical switch states.
- Trigger the same checks as when loading a model - i.e., throttle position, switch states, whether failsafe is set, display pre-flight checklist if configured, stuck key test, etc.
Reset Timer 1 / 2 / 3 - Only resets the selected timer to zero, regardless of configured persistence settings.
Reset Telemetry - This option will reset all discovered telemetry sensor values.
2.3 Statistics

The Statistics screen provides you with statistics about radio usage. All data is reset after the radio is turned off. The following information is provided:
- SES - Amount of time the radio has been on.
- THR - Amount of time the throttle stick position has been above 0%.
- TH% - Amount of time the throttle stick position has been above 50%.
Long press the [knob] or [dial] button to reset the statistics and debug screens.
Press [PAGE>] to take you to the Debug screen.
Debug screen 1:

The Debug screen provides data points used by developers when debugging software issues. Most users will not find the information on this screen useful unless they are debugging an issue with a developer. The following debug information is provided. - Free mem - Number of free bytes of current radio memory.
- Lua scripts
- [D] - Maximum Lua duration (ms).
- [I] - Maximum Lua interval (ms).
- TMix max - Maximum mix task duration.
- Free stack - [Menu] / [Mix] /[Audio]
- [Menu] - Minimum free stack memory for menu task.
- [Mix] - Minimum free stack memory for mix task.
- [Audio] - Minimum free stack memory for audio task.
- Tlm RX Err - Number of received telemetry errors.
