TBS High-Frequency Head Configuration
I. Principle
TBS high-frequency antenna (Crossfire) supports MAVLink telemetry functionality, enabling wireless communication between the flight controller and ground control station (Mission Planner / QGroundControl) through RC transmitter, receiver and WiFi methods. After properly configuring the TBS high-frequency antenna telemetry function, remote operations such as flight data monitoring, parameter adjustment, waypoint setting, etc. can be performed.
II. Equipment Preparation
1) Flight Controller: Any of the following flight controllers are suitable for this tutorial: SpeedyBee F405 WING APP / SpeedyBee F405 WING MINI / CoreWing F405 WING V2
2) RC Transmitter: Using RadioMaster Boxer as an example.
3) TBS High-frequency Antenna (Crossfire TX): Micro TX / Nano TX / Fusion
4) TBS Receiver (Crossfire RX): Nano RX PRO (recommended)
5) Ground Control Station: Mission Planner GCS
3. Specific Operations
3.1 TBS RX (Receiver) Connection to Flight Controller Telemetry Interface
Connect CH.OUT3 and CH.OUT4 of the TBS Nano RX (or PRO version) to the UART4 (Serial4) port of the flight controller respectively:
| TBS RX Interface | Flight Controller Port | Description |
|---|---|---|
| OUT3 | TX4 | MAVLink data transmission |
| OUT4 | RX4 | MAVLink data reception |
