How to Fix Frontier T3 Flight Mode and Voltage Display Errors
1. Problem Description
Problem 1: When using the Befan T3 VTX, toggling the RC switch to change flight modes does not change the flight mode displayed on the video feed.
Normally, the flight mode should change according to the position of the RC switch :::

Problem 2: When using the Befan T3 VTX, the voltage displayed on the video feed does not match the actual voltage.
Normally, the actual voltage should be displayed. As shown in the image above, the current FC input voltage should be 15.2V :::

2. Root Cause Analysis
Reason for incorrect flight mode display:
- Incorrect port protocol not set in the ground control station
- Or MSP is enabled on the port
Reason for incorrect voltage display: - The Befan T3 VTX firmware itself has an issue and cannot display voltage correctly
3. Solutions
3.1 How to fix incorrect flight mode display
CoreWing F405 WING V2:
- Click to enter Serial Ports
- Set the baud rate of Serial Port 3 to
115200 - Set the protocol to MAVLink2

After setting, please reconnect the flight controller and ground control station to ensure parameters have been written to the ground control station :::
3.2 How to fix incorrect voltage display

- After powering on the ground unit, press the power button briefly to bring up the main menu
- Press the power button briefly to select the next item
- Press the M key to confirm the sky unit, click on cell count, and set it to 1S
The Befan T3 VTX firmware itself has an issue; regardless of the number of batteries used, it must be set to 1S to display correctly :::

4. Verification
After modifying parameters in the ground control station and VTX menu, be sure to disconnect power to all devices, including the flight controller and both ends of the VTX (sky and ground) :::
If the flight controller is using INAV firmware, accelerometer calibration is required; otherwise, switching flight modes will not change :::
- Power on all devices and connect for frequency pairing
- After successful pairing between the RC transmitter and receiver, toggle the flight mode switch to confirm if it changes

Due to the Befan T3 VTX firmware, the flight mode name set in the ground control station will differ from the name displayed on the screen :::
- You can confirm if the voltage in the top-left corner of the screen is displayed correctly by comparing it with the voltage shown in the ground control station
