INAV ESC Wiring Guide
I. Principle
When using the F405 WING flight controller, it is necessary to correctly connect the ESCs (Electronic Speed Controllers) to ensure the motors operate properly. Different firmware (such as INAV and ArduPilot) have different motor channel assignments, so proper matching is required during wiring based on the firmware. Additionally, if the ESC has its own BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) power supply, special attention must be paid during wiring to avoid conflicts with the flight controller's built-in BEC power supply, which could damage the ESC or flight controller.
II. Equipment Preparation
1) Flight Controller: Any of the following flight controllers are suitable for this tutorial: SpeedyBee F405 WING APP / SpeedyBee F405 WING MINI / CoreWing F405 WING V2.
2) ESC: Any ESC is suitable for this tutorial.
2) Computer: Used for configuring parameters with a computer-based ground control station.
III. Step-by-Step Guide
1. ESC and Flight Controller Wiring
- INAV firmware: After selecting the aircraft model, Motor1 is default assigned to S1. The ESC signal wire needs to be connected to the S1 pin of the flight controller's pin header, ensuring the wire sequence is correct.
Note: The positive and negative poles of the ESC signal wire cannot be reversed, otherwise it may cause damage to the ESC or flight controller.

- ArduPilot firmware: The default throttle channel is 3 (customizable). The ESC signal wire needs to be connected to the S3 pin. If the throttle channel is customized, for example to channel X, then the corresponding Sx pin on the flight controller needs to be found for wiring.
Note: The positive and negative poles of the ESC signal wire cannot be reversed, otherwise it may cause damage to the ESC or flight controller.

2. Handling ESC BEC Power Supply Conflicts - Flight controller with built-in BEC power supply, if the ESC also has its own BEC power supply, special attention must be paid during wiring:
When connecting the ESC signal wire to the flight controller, the ESC's power supply wire must be disconnected, otherwise the ESC BEC and flight controller BEC may conflict, causing damage to the ESC or flight controller.
3. Correcting Motor Rotation Direction - If the motor rotation direction is incorrect (motor spinning in reverse), there is no need to modify the flight controller or transmitter settings:
Swapping the positions of any two of the three-phase wires of the motor will change the motor's rotation direction.
