How to Check Receiver Firmware Version

I. Via Web Page

Method 1: Using Automatic WiFi Mode

  1. Insert the receiver into the flight controller and power the flight controller using a data cable.
  2. Wait for at least 60 seconds or press and hold the BAT button for 5 seconds. The LED will change to rapid flashing mode or green breathing LED mode (for receivers using RGB LED), indicating it is now in WiFi mode.

  3. Turn on WiFi on your computer → Connect to the ExpressLRS RX receiver WiFi, the default password is lowercase "expresslrs".
  4. After connecting to WiFi, wait 10 seconds for a browser to automatically open and redirect to the 10.0.0.1 page; if the browser doesn't open automatically, you can directly enter 10.0.0.1 in the browser address bar to access the receiver.
  5. At the top of the page, you can view the receiver's firmware version.

    Method 2: Through ExpressLua Script

Important

This method is only valid when the receiver has been bound and paired with the RC transmitter TX module.

  1. Click the SYS button on the RC transmitter, enter the TOOLS menu, find the ExpressLRS option and click to enter the script

Important

If you cannot find this script, please download the ExpressLRS Lua script and save it to your Radio SD Card Scripts/Tools/ folder.

  1. After entering the script, scroll down and select WIFI Connectivity

Important

If the script is stuck on the "Loading..." screen, return to the radio ready screen and ensure the radio is properly configured for ExpressLRS use.

  1. Select Enable RX WIFI

II. Through LUA Script

Important

This method is only valid when the receiver has been bound and paired with the RC transmitter TX module.

  1. Click the SYS button on the RC transmitter, enter the TOOLS menu, find the ExpressLRS option and click to enter the script

  2. After entering the script, scroll down and select Other Devices

  3. Select the receiver device and press Enter to query its parameters.

  4. The image below shows the receiver firmware version information.
